Welcome to the Victoria Junior Chamber website!
Founded in 1950, Victoria Junior Chamber (“Victoria JC”) is the most senior Chapter amongst the 19 Chapters affiliated to Junior Chamber International Hong Kong. We are the only bilingual co-ed Chapter, comprising well-educated members from diverse professional background. We cultivate young leaders and entrepreneurs through “learning by doing”. Victoria JC members passionately organize various dynamic projects to benefit the community, and also attain personal growth through acquiring leadership, management skills and experience.
It is my great honor being the President of Victoria Junior Chamber in 2010.
"Dazzling for 60 Years” is the theme this year. In 2010, we are celebrating our 60th Anniversary. We are not only showing how to dazzle in 2010, we are also letting you know how we have walked since 1950.
In 2010, three flagship projects will be launched, they are:
5th innoBrand
This year, ‘5th innoBrand' will our main theme, Corperate Identity. By seminars, forums and competition, the importance of Corperate Identity will be promoted to SMEs.
International Kids Exchange Summit Program
IKES Program will invite different countries' students to come to Hong Kong. During their trip, they will have trainings, visits, sharings to understand one of the UNMDG, the climate change. The closing ceremony will also be held on the same day as our 60th Anniversary, 7th August 2010.
Grandparents' Day
Launched since 1990, ‘Grandparents' Day' has been the longest life project organized by Victoria JC, and is commemorating the 21st Anniversary in 2010. In the past few years, this project has stepped up efforts to enhance closer relationship among the three generations from grandparents to sons/daughters and grandsons/granddaughters.
As the JCI vision “ To be the Leading Global Network of Young Active Citizens ” goes, let us be active citizens for our world today and have a better world tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you all in our upcoming events.
